Victorian Graduated Five Diamond Ring of English Origin

ƒ;2,113.00

We love the sparkle of old mine cut diamonds, they're very unique and different from how modern diamonds behave.
This ring has five of them in a graduated layout: the middle diamond being the largest and the side stones slightly decreasing in size per stone.

Old mine cut diamonds tend to draw your eye and provide a pleasant sparkle that you'll always admire as they differ from day to night.
They were cut by hand to perform best in early electricity, gas lighting, and candle light.
This is not to say they don't send fireworks off from natural sunlight.

We would place this ring in the late victorian era, c.1870s-1880s.
It is of English origin (Birmingham), bearing the makers mark of W.G&S - William Griffith & Sons - which was a Birmingham based jewellery company established in 1850.

This type of multi-diamond ring was considered to be quite romantic during this time period and were given as an anniversary present.
It could be worn as a wedding band, a promise ring, or as that fantastic right hand ring we all need.

The ring is handmade and is currently a size 7.

This item comes with a verification report from a certified independent appraiser.
