Art Deco Ruby and Diamond Bar Pin
The art deco style shines in this bar pin: clean lines and the classic combination of rubies and diamonds. What could be better?
The center piece of this pin features three old mine cut diamonds that are slightly graduated in size. These are surrounded by rose cut diamonds and rubies.
Calibre cut gems (like the rubies in this piece) are specially cut for the intended jewellery at the time.
This was a handmade piece that was designed with these stones in mind.
We think this pin would look fantastic on the lapel of a coat, a collar, or on a hat!
It has the classic safety pin closure that is quite popular again.
The rubies and diamonds join together in a swooping, bypass style with the main stones prominently set in the design. and twenty rose cut diamonds.
This pin could be converted to a pendant, bracelet, or possibly a ring if a re-purposing was in mind - although we think it's fantastic as is!
