Afrodita Pendant by Carrera y Carrera
"These voluptuous pendants are reminiscent of sweet Aphrodite walking along the beach in search of beautiful shells." - The Afrodita Pendant.
"Dare to be different" this was the luxury spanish brand carrera y carrera's motto. Their jewels certainly do not disappoint!
Handmade from 18 karat gold, this pendant is inspired by a nautilus shell, which since antiquity has been associated with the greek goddess aphrodite. This is where the name "afrodita" comes from - it is spanish for aphrodite.
The afrodita line is part of carrera y carrera's "mediterráneo collection" and was revealed in basel switzerland at the 2011 baselworld convention.
This collection brings the myths of the ancient mediterranean to life: a time when goddesses walked lovingly among us on its beaches and nymphs existed in the sun-soaked waters of the mediterranean, aiding lost sailors and hoping for the return of their heroes.
This pendant has all of its original accompanying items that come with it.
Included items would be: its original box, the little booklet with the authenticity card inside, and its sales tag.
The gold chain (which is also carrera y carrera) is included with this pendant.
