Maltese Cross Pendant with Enamelling

This handmade pendant which is in the form of a maltese cross has blue enamelling that has been applied on top of 14 karat yellow gold.
The gold has a nice buttery yellow colour which most vintage and antique pieces gain with time.
Enamelling is not common these days and most enamelling on vintage pieces doesn't survive due to wear and tear. 
The enamel on this is in decent condition and doesn't show much wear as you can see in the images.

There is a spot on the back where you can thread a necklace through, or a ribbon, and wear it as a pendant.
