Handmade Garnet and Diamond Ring
This ring was made by a master goldsmith, who, at one time worked for a well-known, luxury brand jewellery company and also has done some work for foreign dignitaries, and royal families over the last thirty plus years of his career.
He opened his own small store and continued making pieces by hand along with taking custom orders until he retired from the industry a few years ago.
This piece was made by him and is one of the few we purchased before he went into retirement a few years ago. It is new and has not been worn.
The center stone in this ring is an oval cut garnet which weighs: 1.50 carat.
The ring is handmade and the inside of the gallery/ shank is beautifully finished with filigree details.
The band is unusual in that the bottom half is yellow gold, while the top half of the ring is made from white gold.
This ring is currently a size 6 ½.
