Art Deco Aquamarine, Pearl, and Diamond Platinum Pendant
A real "wow" piece! This is one gorgeous pendant that really gives off the art deco vibe.
This is a rare piece that has survived in excellent condition - as if it wasn't worn often.
As this piece is made from platinum, it is much more difficult to make than the same design in gold and requires much more labour. Because of this, you don't find many jewellers who could replicate this by hand, let alone who work with platinum.
The center of this pendant has an antique oval cut aquamarine in a millegrained bezel setting that is made from platinum.
The surrounding seed pearls are set into uniform rows on each side of the pendant, incorporating the art deco lines.
Set in a row adjacent to the seed pearls, we have eighteen graduated single cut diamonds that are surrounded by millegrain.
At the end of each row is a bezel set diamond that is topped by a stylized fan shape which contains four more diamonds with more millegrain and filigree edges.
There is an egg-shaped pearl that is suspended from the bottom of the pendant that is fully drilled and secured.
The pendant, chain, and bale are made from platinum. The bale has a fluted finish.
This item comes with a verification report from a certified independent appraiser.
The pearl drop has slight natural dimples on it but the condition of the jewel overall is excellent.
